"Panther" Screw Compressors

Crownwell offers a range of heavy duty industrial oil-injected screw air compressors with a pressure range from 7 to 13bar and a power range of 5.5 to 400kW. Like all Crownwell compressors, Panther units are backed up by our group of highly skilled senior engineers with more than thirty years of design experience. Crownwell offers the industry's most reliable and cost effective compressed air packages. Each component is thoroughly evaluated for its reliability and high efficiency.

Air end
The rotor is the key element of these screw air compressors. Crownwell air ends utilize a 5-lobe rotor (Driving rotor) and a 6-lobe female rotor (driven rotor). We guarantee superior FAD efficiency, robustness and reliability. Larger rotors are designed to ensure slower speeds and less wasted energy. This greatly increases energy cost savings and the lifespan of them machine.

Motor and Direct Coupling
The oil-injected screw air compressor uses IP54 high-efficiency IEC motors. The over-sized cast iron conduit boxes make connections easy. The motors feature high performance and low temperature operation. The special design is used to guarantee the reliability and driving efficiency with minimum vibration for quiet operation.

Suction Valve
Suction valve is the major air flow control component. It controls air flow to the compressor either by opening, throttling, or closing completely in response to pressure sensor controls. High quality and highly reliable.

Oil Separation System
The three-stage separation system supplies high quality compressed air. The oil separator adopts a tangential intake, there is an oil baffle between the inner wall and apron to pre filter lubricant. Then the oil-air mixture flows out through the oil separator from inside to outside. The separation tank has two different separation stages: centrifugal and gravity. The third stage separation is provided by a high performance, long life coalescent separator filter. The efficiency of the first two stages assures the long lifespan of this coalescent filter. This system limits oil vapors carryover to below 3ppm.

Oil Filter
Large filtering covering and high precision. It effectively filters the remains of the worn parts and the impurities in the oil. It guarantees a much longer lifespan of the compressor.

Air Filter
99.99% high efficiency, low pressure loss, provides filtration to less than 3microns utilizing ultra web nanofiber technology which ensures clean, unrestricted air flow for optimal compressor operation.

Control System
Full control in a few clicks. The Crownwell LCD controller gives you easy access to menus and all key performance indicators necessary to drive your operation. It also features remote control interface with up to 4 compressors, programmed routine maintenance, fault log , recording of running history, warning and stop alarms, and several other functions. All microprocessor functions are password protected, accessible only by authorized personnel.
