Tissue Monitoring Technology
The tissue monitoring technology monitors the tissue density, especially in polypectomies and papillotomies. Cutting is divided into cut and pause processes, so that coagulation occurs during each pause. The system is smart enough to change the pause interval as tissue density changes, thus producing a fine cutting and coagulation effect.
Patient Return Electrode Monitoring (PREM)
REM (Return Electrode Monitoring) monitors the range of the contact area between the patient and the neutral plate. If the size is not appropriate, the monitor will automatically stop the high frequency current with an audible alarm to minimize the danger of burns. It is compatible with other surgical equipment, and is useful in endoscopy and optimum smoke evacuation systems. The patient monitor has a waterproof panel operation and microcomputer control in a two zone LED digital display.
