Using an airflow that moves opposite to the material flow, the counterflow cooler is suitable for cooling lumpy, bulky, flaky, and particulate materials.

Features of Counterflow Cooler
1. During the time when product and air flow pass each other, they exchange heat and moisture. Counterflow cooling is a gentle, gradual cooling method that avoids thermal shock from abrupt cooling. Therefore, cracks in the pellet become less of an issue.
2. Rotary distributor fitted on the top of large-size cooling to ensure a uniform thickness of material bed and there is no corner that can't be reached by the cooling air.
3. Unique airlock feeder seals the pressurized chamber against air loss all while allowing a constant supply of materials into that chamber.
4. Material level indicator allows automatic control of cooling time.
5. A swing style discharge mechanism ensures materials are discharged from the outlet safely without being broken, leaving minimum residue inside.
6. Especially suitable for cooling friable or puffed materials.
