Expansion Vessel (for Heating System)
The expansion vessel is so commonplace in modern-day hydronic home heating system. It serves to absorb excess water pressure due to expansion and contraction of the water used for heat transfer.
When the heating system starts work, the closed-loop pipeline is filled with liquid, for example water. As the temperature rises within the pipework, so does the water pressure. To stabilize that pressure, the expansion vessel is typically used to buffer pressure changes and reduce the risk of pipe bursting.
Tianyang expansion tank is an indispensable pressure vessel to the heating system. It typically comes in two groups: Flat-DEZHI and Extra-DEZHI.

Note that the pre-charge pressure, often shortened to pre-charge, refers to the air pressure that is created inside the tank at the factory. It is common practice to pre-charge the tank to the correct pressure. Care should be taken to check pre-charge before use.
