XQ140/12Y Hydraulic Power Tongs
Our XQ140/12Y hydraulic power tongs are used to make up and break apart threaded pipes fast during oil well servicing operation. Unique to the power tongs is the open-throat design that brings together the backup tongs and master tongs.
This state-of-the-art clamping device is applicable for oil pipes, small oil rig casing and sucker rod with outside diameters ranging from 73mm to 140mm, or 2-7/8" to 5-1/2" in the imperial and US measuring system. The open-throat gripping unit has become commonplace in onshore and offshore oil fields.
Simple structure, easy operation, and wide usage are the major benefits of our power tongs for end users. Large output torques are available as well, from the minimum of 1200N·m to the maximum of 2500 N·m. This greatly reduces the amount of manual work, improves working efficiency, and enhances oil well repair quality.
Upon your request, we can install a torque control system onto the tongs to display, record, and control the torque applied.
