The HR–2PE–TL fault indicator with temperature sensor is used for detecting short circuit fault, earthing fault, real time 3 phase current, and 3-phase cable’s temperature. The remote sensors can transmit packaged data at set time and set interval through regular DTU/RTU polling. The indicator has a LCD screen to show current, temperature, and fault alarms.

The HR–2PE–TL fault indicator with temperature sensor comprises of main device (indicator with LCD screen), three short circuit current temperature sensors, one earthing fault current temperature sensor and one power adapter (powered by DC 24V or AC220V). All the sensors connect to the indicator through cables, so data can be transmitted to remote terminal through 485 busbar.

Main Function
Short-circuit alarm. When short circuit fault occurred, the short circuit sensor will send out fault signal after receiving DTU/RTU polling signal. Then an alarm will be displayed at the LCD screen.
Earthing fault alarm. The earthing fault sensor of the HR–2PE–TL fault indicator detects the circuit’s zero-sequence current value. When there is a fault and the earthing current reaches or exceeds the set value, sensor will send out signal after receiving DTU/RTU polling signal. Then an alarm will be displayed at the LCD screen.
Cable temperature indication. The real time cable temperature is shown on the LCD screen and can be sent to remote terminal by DTU/RTU polling method.
Load current indication. The real time load current is shown on the LCD screen of the HR–2PE–TL fault indicator and can be sent to remote terminal by DTU/RTU polling method.
Automatic reset. After the indicator alarmed but was not reset manually, the indicator will be automatically reset.
Manual reset After the indicator alarmed, it can be reset by pressing the Reset/Test button for 1s to deactivate the alarm.
Remote reset. The HR–2PE–TL fault indicator can be reset after receiving DTU/RTU remote reset signal.
Power Supply Adapter: AC 220V and DC 24V powers are optional.
