Description
1. The SSOD1 high voltage disconnect switch is a commonly used single phase disconnector for outdoor use. It is mainly applied to 12kV, 24kV or 50Hz electric power system for electric isolation. Basically, it suits for non-loaded current-carrying high-voltage circuit, high-voltage busbar, circuit breaker and the other electrical equipment.
2. This electrical component is extensively used in electric power, railway, mine, oil field and many other industries.
3. The main switch blade of the high voltage disconnect switch is comprised of double-deck, cold-drawn, round-edged copper blade and moving contact. The robust structure well ensures reliable connection of main switch blade and linguate static contact after switching on.
4. Special lock catch effectively prevents the main switch blade from moving out of switch-on position when short circuit happens.

Service Environment of the High Voltage Disconnect Switch
This disconnecting switch perfectly works under following conditions:
1. Ambient temperature: -40℃ to 45℃
2. Wind pressure: ≤700Pa (equivalent to wind speed of 34m/s)
3. Altitude: ≤3000m

Technical Standards
The high voltage disconnect switch is manufactured in compliance with standards as below:
1. IEC282.2, IEC787 (About high-voltage isolator issued by International Electrotechnical Commission)
2. GB1985-2004 (Appropriate for AC high-voltage disconnect switch and earthing switch)
3. GB/T11022-99 (Common specifications for high-voltage switchgear and control gear standards)

Configurations
Our outdoor high voltage disconnect switch is mainly composed of following components:
1. Terminal pad (standard): It is copper connecting board with silver coated surface.
2. Back-up Springs (Standard): The two stainless steel springs offers high strength and superior corrosion resistance.
3. Loadbreak Hooks (Standard): It is coupled with loadbreak for operation.
4. Pulling loop and latching device (standard): They are made of precision casted copper and can be operated at any angle.
5. Copper Blade (Standard): It is double-deck and round-edged, made by means of cold drawing.
6. Stainless steel pin (Standard): It is adjustable at 90° or 160° angle.
7. Open Position Latch (Optional): It is fixed at 90° or 160° position.
8. Terminal pad (standard): It is copper connecting board with silver coated surface.
9. Insulators: It is fit for standard parts for installation.
10. Installing plate: It is divided in three types, including porcelain type, silicone rubber type and epoxy resin type.
11. Serrated Slots (Standard): It is made of hot dip galvanized steel or stainless steel.
