ATMP

Application
The ATMP is a phosphonate scale and corrosion inhibitor for metal equipment or piping. It is often associated with other organic acid, poly-carboxylic acid or salt to form organic water treatment agent. The agent is adopted by circulating cooling water systems under a variety of water conditions. It is ideal for water cooling systems and water injection systems of power plants and oil refineries. A dosage of 1-20mg/L is preferred. When used for anti-corrosion purpose, an amount of 20-60mg/L is required.

Application
The sodium salt of ATMP can prevent formation of scale, particularly the formation of calcium carbonate scale. ATMP.Na5 is a low-cost universal anti-corrosion agent for zinc and phosphate with good chelating properties.

HEDP

1- Hydroxy Ethylidene- 1,1-Diphosphonic Acid (HEDP)

Application
The HEDP can form stable complexes with iron, copper, zinc and other metal ions. It can dissolve oxide on metal surface. Even at 250 ℃, it still has good anti-corrosion and anti-scale performance and remains stable under high pH conditions. This scale and corrosion inhibitor is hard to be hydrolyzed, or break down under normal light and heat conditions. It has better acid, alkali and oxychlorination resistance than other organic phosphonic acid (salt).

The HEDP is used in electric power, chemical industry, metallurgy, fertilizer and other industrial cooling water systems, as well as water and oil pipelines in medium and low pressure boilers and oil fields.

Application
The DTPMPA is an acid soluble scale and corrosion inhibitor with superb inhibition effect and temperature resistance. It prevents the formation of carbonate and sulfate scales. In alkaline environment and high temperature (210 ℃ above), it shows better performance than other organic phosphorus.

The DTPMPA is used in circulating cooling water and boiler water systems, especially for water under alkaline conditions. It is also applicable to high barium carbonate water conditions. Generally, when it is used as anti-scale agent, a concentration of 1-30mg / L is recommended; while as cleaning agent, 1000-2000mg / L is preferred. It is usually used with polycarboxylic acid scale dispersants.
