Our range of ABS system for buses, coaches and trucks has two available configurations which are 4S/4M and 6S/6M, and it is a very popular style of anti lock braking system in China, taking up more than 80 percent of domestic market share.

Benefits of KORMEE ABS Systems for Buses, Coaches & Trucks
Conventional vehicle brake system applies braking torque to stop vehicles when needed. But, this working mechanism usually leads to locking up of wheels. Under this condition, tyres are doomed to suffer from severe abrasion. What is worse, uncontrolled skidding will take place if rear wheels are locked up, and cease of rotation of front wheels will make automobiles unable to steer. These phenomena are very dangerous when driving.

Give this, we have especially designed our coach ABS & truck ABS to effectively prevent wheels from locking up on different roads, and it conforms to GB13594 and ECE R13. This ABS system for trucks and coaches generally offers improved vehicle control on slippery surfaces, enabling drivers to manipulate steering wheel to avoid collision with obstacles. On the other hand, the ABS system shortens brake distance for coaches and trucks when driving at a fast speed, and it also cut down tyre wear, thereby reducing maintenance cost.

Functions of ABS Systems
Our anti lock brakes for coaches and trucks integrates various functions together, including hill start assist, anti-slip regulation, tyre pressure monitoring and others. For example, K-line interface offers a perfect solution when online detection is necessary in large factories, and CAN bus communication makes it possible to display ABS system working and maintenance details on automobile instrument panel.

ABS System Composition

Electronic Control Unit (ECU)

Our ECU suits well for 4S/4M ABS system and 6S/6M ABS system. It is a light and small device designed to collect signals from speed sensors and output signals to control braking pressure and modulator. ECU is set to check working conditions of ABS components automatically as soon as the ignition lock is turned on. In addition, our coach ABS & truck ABS is installed in driving cab, and it should be kept away from water.

ABS Solenoid Valve

The solenoid valve for ABS system usually refers to three-position three-way solenoid valve, and it is utilized to boost, maintain and reduce the pressure of brake cylinder several times every second, thus setting wheels in a critical state between rotating and locking. In this way, enough adhesive force is obtained to prevent control failure.

ASR Solenoid Valve

ASR is a secondary function of our coach ABS & truck ABS systems, and ASR solenoid valve is the key component. It receives command sent by ECU, and adjusts output power of driving wheel to modulate braking pressure. So, undesired skidding is eliminated.

The ASR solenoid valve is a three-position two-way modulator that is closed under normal conditions. After electrified, its air inlet will open to allow air to pass through so as to brake corresponding drive axle. In addition, vertical installation is recommended.

Double Check Valve

For our bus, coach & truck ABS system, the two air inlet ports of double check valve are connected to ABS solenoid valve and ASR solenoid valve, respectively. It is highly suggested to set the air inlet port that is connected to ABS solenoid valve upwards, and the connection is 3- M22×1.5.

ABS Wire Harness

This ABS system wire harness integrates power cable, data cable, sensor extension cable and valve extension cable together to provide power for anti-lock braking system as well as connect sensors and valves to ECU. Our product has power plug and ECU plug, and it matches well with coach ABS and truck ABS.
