XRH Lab Homogenizer
Model XRH lab homogenizer is specifically designed for a lab that needs to process small amounts of pharmaceutical or cosmetic emulsions. Once inside the emulsifying mixer, materials are subject to external mechanical forces which cut the liquid/liquid and solid/liquid mixture particles to narrower sizes. After effective emulsification, one phase is dispersed throughout another phase, resulting in fine, uniform, stable emulsions.

Main Parts of the Lab Homogenizer
Model XRH laboratory homogenizer consists of the main emulsion tank (with an electric lifting lid), sleeve-type shaft homogenizer, vacuum suction device, heating and cooling system, and the control panel. Upon request, a hot water tank can be attached to the laboratory mixer.
Working Principle of the Lab Homogenizer
The two phases of emulsion, water and oil, are tumbled under the combined mixing action of the gate impeller and the straight-blade impeller. A Teflon coated scraper, which is designed to conform to the shape of the mixing tank, is used to remove any materials that tend to stick to the tank wall.
During the mixing, the laboratory high shear mixer shears droplets and particles to smaller sizes. Via the vacuum suction system, excessive bubbles found in the mixture are eliminated.
