For instance, the dimensional tolerance of the steel blade we produce for Philips electric shaver is ±0.02mm and the tolerance for some key parts reaches ±0.005mm.
Now, the precision mould is applied in not only the production industry but also the service industry. With the continuous development of CAE and MPI technologies, we are able to identify problems like poor exhaust and early wire bonding in advance. Also, those technologies can be used in the design of injection molding parameters to shorten the production cycle and mold testing time.
Mold for Chrome Plated Parts
As a high quality mold maker, we have rich experience in producing precision injection molds for chrome plated parts.
The chrome plated parts of a car mainly include the logo, inside trim, outside trim with grille, etc. As these parts are demanding on surface quality, the injection mold is generally made from ABS and polish-resistant 420S steel. Also, these car parts need electroplating, the steel surface is required to resemble mirror surface. This can be completed by high precision EDM technology. In addition, to ensure the quality of the visual surface, the nozzle position and the cooling system are both important.
