Alachlor is an aniline herbicide used to control annual grasses and certain broadleaf weeds in corn, soybeans, and peanut fields. It is a selective systemic herbicide, primarily absorbed by germinating shoots and by roots. The compound functions by inhibiting protein synthesis or by interfering with root elongation.

Uses
1. Alachlor is mainly utilized to control the growth of broad-leafed weeds and grasses in corn and other crops. It mixes well with other herbicides. Additionally, this product is found in mixed formulations with atrazine, glyphosate, trifluralin, and imazaquin.

2. This kind of maize herbicide is the most commonly available as a micro granule containing 15% active ingredients, or an emulsifiable concentrate containing 480g/litre of active ingredients.

3. Our product is applied as either pre-drilling, soil incorporated, or pre-emergence.
