The E309L-16 welding electrode is born with lime-titania coating. This Cr23Ni13 stainless steel rod is compatible with AC and DC power source. Thanks to ultra-low carbon grade, our welding consumable exhibits outstanding resistance to intergranular corrosion caused by carbide precipitation, even with absence of stabilizers such as Nb and Ti.

Our lime-titania type rod finds extensive uses in similar stainless steel structures, clad steels and dissimilar steels applied to manufacture of equipment for industries of synthetic fiber and petrochemical, etc. Moreover, our welding electrode also has been proved to be ideal for surfacing of internal transition layer in nuclear reactor and pressure vessel, as well as welding of internal components.

Note
1. Base materials should be free from pollutions such as oil stains, rusts and moisture before welding.
2. The welding electrode should be baked at the temperature from 300℃ to 350℃ for 1 hour before welding.
