PVC/WPC Celuka Foam Sheet Extrusion Line
When a solid outer surface and light weight are required, the Celuka or inward foaming technology is often used. This inward foamed PVC sheet extrusion line is comprised of the counter-rotating twin-screw extruder, extrusion die with double flow channels, vacuum sizing tank, belt haul-off and other downstream components. The resultant inward foaming sheet is either 1200mm or 2000 wide, with thickness ranging from 3mm to 18mm.
Compared with free foaming process, the Celuka technology produces more flat, smooth outer surface with better stiffness, rigidity and mechanical strength. Inward foaming sheet can be printed with paint, covered with films and hot pressed to produce wood replicas which are widely used as construction materials, sheets for advertising, and decorative materials in car, train and ship, as well as in the kitchen, bathroom, and furniture.
Features
1. Counter-rotating conical twin-screw extruder ensures large extrusion output and uniform shearing force.
2. Dedicated flow channels of the extrusion die makes sure the melt flow is even throughout the extrusion and foaming process.
3. The sizing and cooling system on the inward foaming sheet extrusion line features a compression plate structure. It is hydraulically controlled to achieve precise dimensional specifications.
4. The belt haul-off uses rollers to facilitate the measurement and adjustment of traction force. The haul-off unit is synchronized in movement with the slitting cutter to enable straight cuts on the inward foamed sheet.
