Injection Mould for Traffic Light Lens

Constructed of S136 steel, our injection mold is sturdier and more corrosion-resistant than one made with 2316 steel. High quality mold ensures minimized defect rates of the resultant molded parts, or in this case, the traffic signal lens.
This mould comes with an attached frame which is made up of a big sprue and cold runners. Both the sprue and runners need to be cut off manually after the lenses are produced.
Having an external dimension set at 450mm×450mm×400mm, the mold is designed with 1 main flow channel and 4 side channels. Thesprue forms the main channel through which plastic resin enters the mold. The flow branches out from the sprue into four side channels called runners. After that, the resin enters 4 mold cavities of the same shape where it forms the desired part. Within a single molding cycle, a total of 4 traffic lenses can be molded at the same time for improved molding efficiency.
This injection molding tool works optimally for polycarbonate materials. It can be reused one million times before going to waste. This would bring significant cost savings. Additionally, the mold is easy to fit into any of your injection molding machines. It is simple to use.
