Injection Mould for Multi LED Lens
At A&R Technology, we are capable of making injection molds for use in the manufacture of multi LED lens. The multi LED lens is a big, glass-clear plastic lens onto which many small lenses are molded. This material is widely used for chips-on-board LED packaging.
Made of S136 steel, our injection mold proves to be tougher than one constructed of 2316 steel. The outstanding corrosion-resistance characteristics of S316 steel makes it possible for users to strictly control the dimensional accuracy of finished lens for improved light transmission. That is why the resultant LED lens could have glass-like clarity.
With an external dimension set at 600mm×600mm×450mm, the mold utilizes a unique cold runner and a big sprue which need to be cut off from the mold after use. Single flow channel means only 1 multi LED lens would be produced within a single molding cycle. Thus, high molding precision can be guaranteed. This single-cavity mold works ideally for PMMA material. It can be reused for a million times before being discarded. This potentially would save you a lot of money otherwise invested in molds.
Thus far, we have supplies tens of LED light manufacturers with this injection mold. At A&R Technology, customers can have their molds customized to fit their specific size requirements.
