Constructed of S136 steel, our injection mold offers better rigidity that one made of 2316 steel. High corrosion resistance allows the mould to achieve accurate lens dimensions while at the same time improving lens transparency. The external dimension of our mold is 600mm×600mm×450mm.
Unique cold runner and small sprue design enable the production of higher precision lens. Once the injection molding is done, operators do not need to cut off the runner and sprue manually. The hot resin enters the mold through the main channel known as sprue, branches out through 4 side channels called runners, and arrives at 4 separate mold cavities. The precision lens mold works perfectly for polycarbonate materials, and can be reused a million times to minimize mold investment.
