KYN28A-12 Metal-clad Switchgear
The KYN28A-12 metal-clad switchgear is a kind of draw out metal-enclosed switch cabinet for indoor use, and it suits for 3-10kV, 3-phase, 50Hz single busbar and busbar sections. This high voltage switchgear is primarily utilized for three purposes as listed below.
1. Power distribution for enterprises, mining plants and manufacturing plants
2. Power receiving and distribution for secondary power substations
3. Start up of large-sized, high-voltage motor, etc.

Operating Condition
1. Ambient temperature: -5℃~ 40℃
2. Max. altitude of installation site: 1000m
3. Average daily relative humidity: ≤95%
4. Average monthly relative humidity: ≤90%
5. Seismic intensity: Not over Class VIII as demonstrated by the Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale
6. Surrounding air: Without vapor, corrosive gas, flammable gas or other pollution gas
7. Working environment: There should be no serious filthy matters or frequent vibration (Hazardous Zone I).
Special Operating Condition
When our metal-clad switchgear is required to work under more severe operating conditions than ones listed above and regulated in IEC62271-2003, users should negotiate with us.

| IP Grade | IP4X: When the door of circuit breaker is closed, wires and other objects with diameter/thickness of 1.0mm or more cannot penetrate into our metal-clad switchgear. Design and Structure
The metal-clad switchgear shall be designed strictly following the requirements for indoor AC metal-clad withdrawable switchgear as regulated in IEC62271-2003 standard, and it should avoid:
1. Pull or push circuit breaker under on-load conditions
2. Misoperation of circuit breaker
3. Operation of circuit breaker when earthing switch is closed
4. Close of earthing switch by mistake when on-load
5. Unauthorized access to the electrified compartment
