Lubricating oil reduces wear and friction between moving parts and also removes heat from the components. As a result, the lube oil itself gets hot. That is where our lube oil cooler comes in which maintains the lube oil temperature within the tolerance band.

Plenty of applications exist for our cooling system, which is commonly used to cool down the hot transmission fluid, transformer oil, and lube oil in electrical system. Other industries like metalliferous mining, chemical engineering, and coal mining also find the cooler a popular safety feature to add to their equipment.

At its most basic, the lube oil cooler is a shell and tube heat exchanger which is one of the most popular exchangers due to its excellent sealing performance, high heat transfer efficiency, easy maintenance and inspection, and maximum resistance to corrosion. Our JPVF series lube oil cooling unit comes in one of two types: either the bare tube configuration or the enhanced surface tube version, depending on the variety of tubes used for heat exchange. The bare tube lube oil cooler has the benefits of high load bearing capacity, long service life, easy cleaning, and limited repair and maintenance. The enhanced surface tube unit uses finned tubes to increase heat transfer area. Compared with bare tubes, the finned features allow faster heat transfer rate while taking up smaller installation space.

Depending on your specific applications requirements, we would offer vertical lube oil cooler, horizontal cooling unit, bare tube cooler, or enhanced surface tube cooler. To know more about our products, please feel free to contact us.

Features
1. If lube oil is cooled down too fast, its viscosity would increase which makes it harder to maintain a constant heat transfer rate. For this reason, we utilize multi-stage cooling technique which allows the lube oil to cool down progressively.
2. During the initial design period, we would assist customers in optimizing the cooling system structure to ensure optimal cooling performance.
3. Structures: Fixed tubesheet heat exchanger, or floating head heat exchanger
