Pipe Flash Tank

This series of flash vessel is made up of the outer shell, multiple inlet pipes, steam trap, and other options such as manholes, hand-holes, or cooling water pipes for easy maintenance, inspection and safe operation. The vessel is widely used in high pressure and temperature flash steam recovery applications.
Features
1. Fully welded structure delivers good stability and reliability.
2. A spray nozzle is fitted at the inlet pipe which ensures the hot condensate is properly atomized and sprayed out evenly.
3. The flash tank comes in a rectangular shape, and is mounted on the side of the high-pressure and low pressure condensers. There are a number of holes along the pipe which would further decrease the pressure of the condensate.
4. Cooling water is shot out in fine spray from the top the flash tank, which effectively cools down the hot steam and causes it to condensate. This increases the capacity of flash vessel.
5. Inside the tank are rib-stiffened plates and support columns to increase the rigidity of the flash vessel.
6. A baffle plate is set at the tank outlet to avoid thermal shock which would severely impact the internal parts of the condenser.
7. Access holes are drilled into the flash tank to facilitate maintenance and inspection of the internal flash vessel.
