The intermittent blowdown flash tank is called so because it utilizes a process known as the bottom blowdown which involves periodically opening valves to force the sludge out of the boiler. Intermittent blowdown proves more effective at removing suspended solids in the water than another process known as the surface blowdown or, the continuous blowdown.

JPVF series intermittent blowdown flash tank is capable of handling high temperature and pressure boiler water. Each high-pressure water inlet is made with our patented energy absorption technologies to ensure safety and reliability of the equipment.

Selecting a right intermittent manual blowdown flash tank depends on the volume, temperature, and pressure of blowdown water. If you are interested in any of our flash vessels, please feel free to contact us for more information.
