Profibus-DP Card for VFD
When an AC60/AC80/AC90 series frequency inverter is inserted with this Profibus-DP card, it will have access to any Profibus-DP network. The Profibus DP is much preferred with its high speed and low cost advantages.
The Profibus-DP card is widely used in manufacturing automation, industrial process automation and building automation. The data transmission on physical layer relies on RS-485 interface.
The bus signals can also be transmitted by shielded twisted-pair. The theoretical transmission distance is 1200m at a data transmission rate of 9.6kbps. The distance is 100 meters at a baud rate of 12Mbps.
Because the Profibus-DP card is embedded within the drive, please make sure to disconnect the power supply before install the expansion card. The drive power indicator should be completely extinguished before installation.
