BKD Three-lobe Roots Blower
About BKD
The BKD series is a two-stage roots blower composed of two BKW blowers for exceeding the pressure limit of single-stage blower. This is the most prominent feature of this air conveyor. Before the high temperature gas medium flows into the secondary roots blower, it will be cooled first by an intercooler, so that it will not be so hot to disturb the secondary blower from working normally.
Though mostly used for conveying air, the BKD roots blower can also deliver coal gas, hydrogen, acetylene, carbon dioxide and other flammable, explosive and corrosive gases. This series is widely used in petrochemical, building material, electric power, metallurgy, paper making, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, environmental protection, and many other fields.
Features of BKD Roots Blower
1. Helical type timing gears are used for smooth transmission.
2. Integral structure of rotor and shaft overcomes the shortcomings of split structure.
3. There is water cooling for the bearings at both end-plates, lowering the bearings’ operation temperature.
4. Intercooler is equipped for stable running of secondary blower.
5. The BKD roots blowers are available in many specifications, to meet the different requirements.
