Node Type Media Converter
1. The node type media converter from HiOSO provides two SC ports in support of serial connection. It is a kind of optical transceiver that can meet the needs of multiple fiber optic access networks at present, which greatly improves the flexibility of networks. Also, it enables the transmission distance of a network to be extended from 100m over copper wires to 120km.
2. This fiber optic transceiver supports two different types of network connection mediums, i.e., 10/ 100Base-TX and 100BASE – FX. It is characterized by small size, low cost, single/dual fiber, and flexible networking. The product is suitable for use in highway network system, mine communication system, and other multipoint chain networks. It takes advantage of switching technology and store-and-forward technology.

3. Built-in efficient switching core attributes to the implementation of flow control and the reduction of broadcast packets.
4. Support full-duplex and half-duplex transmission mode auto-negotiation.
5. Support automatic crossing of twisted pair ports for the convenience of system debugging and installation.
6. Support the transmission of ultra-long packets with the maximum length of 1552byte.
7. Support Quality of Service (QoS) to ensure the transmission of VOIP packets.
8. Support Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) to make up a redundant network.
9. Thanks to low power consumption and low heat dissipation, the node type media converter can operate steadily for a long time.
10. For better satisfying the requirements of users, it supports multiple fiber port options such as dual-fiber multimode, dual-fiber single-mode, and single-fiber single-mode.
