Our nitrogen gas wiping equipment for steel wire hot-dip galvanizing lines can precisely control the zinc coating thickness on the hot-dip galvanized steel wire without any physical contact. The air knives are used in the galvanizing equipment for wiping the melted zinc on the steel wire surface. The nitrogen flow of each air knife is individually controlled by the manual flow valve and flowmeter. Through changing the gas pressure and flow rate, as well as the steel wire feeding speed, the zinc coating can be regulated in terms of both thickness and surface appearance.
As a high-efficient wipingmachine for galvanizing, this nitrogen gas wiping equipment is suitable for high speed steel wire (diameter: 0.7~8.0mm) hot-dip galvanizing equipment. The maximum DV value of this zinc coating wiping device could reach 150mm·m/min. The wiping performance varies from 40 g/m2 to 350 g/m2, while the presicion could reach ±15g/m2.
