The PE coated steel pipe N-STEEL offers is available with internal coating and external coating. The external coating is mainly used for protecting the petroleum pipe from being corroded before it is buried underground. The internal coating is to reduce the cost of pipeline investment as well as operation and maintenance.

Due to such coatings, this plastic coated pipe boasts excellent corrosion resistance, insulativity, longer service life and certain resistance to mechanical damage. It has been widely used for preventing erosion in all kinds of large scale pipeline projects. Our PE coated steel pipe is divided into ordinary type and reinforced type. The thickness varies according to different specifications. The minimum thickness of the ordinary type is 1.8mm while the minimum thickness of the reinforced type is 2.5mm.

The seamless steel pipes with a DN range from 100mm to 1500mm can all be coated with internal coating for preventing against erosion. Generally, iron oxide red anticorrosive paint, bi-component liquid epoxy coating or other coatings specified by customers can be coated on the internal wall of the carbon steel pipe for anti corrosion application.
