The SC-TA99 tabular alumina is a pure sintered alumina without any additive like MgO, B2O3, etc. This artificial refractory material processes well-developed α- Al2O3 crystal structure characterized by coarse crystal grain, and the Al2O3 content reaches above 99%.
The special processing technologies used by SHUO CHENG result in the unique performance of this sintered corundum, like extraordinary refractoriness, great corrosion resistance, excellent abrasion resistance, high thermal shock resistance, great strength, high toughness and stable chemical properties. The synthetic refectories and castables made of the tabular alumina feature satisfactory thermal shock resistance and great bending strength after high-temperature treatment.
The tabular corundum is perfect refractory material, ceramic material and electric insulation material, and it is also relatively ideal for abrasive tools and polishing abrasives.
