Also called high-alumina cement or refractory cement, the calcium aluminate cement is a kind of hydraulic cementing material mainly consisting of aluminate. The calcium aluminate cement SHUO CHENG supplies is made from proportionally mixed bauxite and lime and processed by means of calcining and levigating.

At high temperature, the refractory cement can remain relatively high strength. The residual strength of the concrete made from the calcium aluminate cement keeps 70% and 50% of the original strength respectively after thermal treatment at 900℃ and 1300℃. Therefore, the high-alumina cement is well applicable for refractory mortar and thermal resistant concrete and extensively used on various industrial kilns.

Besides, proportionally mixed with gypsum, the calcium aluminate cement can be turned into expansive cement and self-stressing cement (special cement). Since the refractory cement contains much crystal water, it is also ideal for radiation shielding concrete.

In addition, the aluminous cement is suitable for engineering constructions in need of emergency maintenance, high strength for early phase, winter construction or resistances to acid, alkali and low temperature, etc.
