Introduction
The 2PG roller crusher is mainly used to crush materials with medium and high hardness in metallurgy, building materials, refractory and other industries. The roller crusher is composed of rollers, spherical roller bearing, pressing and adjusting devices, drives and other components. There is a wedge or shim type adjusting device fitted between the two rollers, and there is an adjustment bolt at the top of the wedge device. When the bolt is adjusted to pull up the wedge, the wedge will lift the movable roller away from the fixed one.

Applications

How it works
There is a wedge or shim type adjusting device fitted between the two rollers of the roller crusher.

At the top of the wedge device, there is an adjustment bolt. When the bolt pulls the wedge upward, the wedge will lift the movable roller away from the fixed one. In this case, the clearance between the two rollers is larger and as result, the crushed particle size will be larger. On the opposite, if the wedge moves down, the movable roller will be forced by the compression spring to reduce the clearance, and thus the particle size is smaller.

In the case of shim type, the adjusting of particle size is by adding or reducing the number or thickness of the shims. The more the shims are, the larger the clearance will be, and vise versa. The particle size changes with the clearance.

Roller crusher Installation and Maintenance
1) Make sure that the iron is removed from the feed material. If uncrushable foreign items, like the drill bit, fall between the double rollers, the roller crusher will be damaged and stop working. So an iron removing device is necessary to be installed.
2) The cavity of the roller crusher is easily blocked by viscous materials. Before troubleshooting, the crushing machine should be stopped first. Do not loosen the stones when the machine is in operation.
3) Pay attention that when the material to be handled contains a lot of chunks, large pieces of ores can be easily squeezed out from the crushing space. Please protect people injury and machine from damage.
4) After running for a long time, the roller surface will be heavily worn, and then the crushed materials will be too fine. In this case, please adjust the port of discharge or carry out equipment maintenance.
5) Strengthen the inspection of the double roller crusher, and keep the equipment well-lubricated by oiling it on time.
