Pilling Resistance Testing Machine
The pilling resistance testing machine, or random tumble pilling tester, is utilized to determine the pilling and fuzzing characteristics of textile fabrics, and it has 2 or 4 test chambers to fit for different requirements.
Working Principle of the Pilling Resistance Testing Machine
The test chamber is manufactured from aluminum alloy and lined with cork, and there is a stainless steel impeller inside. When specimens are placed in the test chamber, they will be tumbled by the impeller and rubbed against the cork liner in a continuous and random manner. After each test period, these specimens are removed and subjectively evaluated.

2. For this random pilling tester, its impellers can be changed as per different global standards, and their rotation speed is very stable so as to offer consistent performance. For better tumbling and rubbing effects, laboratory standard compressed air can be injected into the chamber.
3. When testing is complete, a timer will stop the test and alert the operator with an audible signal. So, this fabric testing equipment is very safe during use.
