The oil and gas industry often uses dosing equipment and pumping equipment for injecting demulsifiers, corrosion inhibitors, de-oxidants, disinfectants, methanol, and ethylene glycol. A wide variety of other chemicals can be added to the oil and gas production process as well, including the surface active agent, paraffin inhibitor, restrainer, and coagulant.
Each chemical agent dosing system consists of a dosing tank, mixer, metering pump, liquid level gauge, safety valve, pressure gauge, pulsation dampener, convector, valve, valves of various kinds without motor base, staircase handrail design, electrical control, pipes and fittings.
The Depamu chemical agent dosing system can be operated either manually or automatically. In the automatic control mode, the discharge flow rate is automatically adjusted to match the feed rate. Remember that signals indicative of the operating status and faults of metering pumps and mixers can be sent to the DCS or host computer, which then remotely controls the pump to start or stop. Advanced electrical enclosure offers three control techniques: automatic, semi-automatic, and manual. Rigid dosing tanks can be made in 316 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, carbon steel, rubber lined carbon steel, glass reinforced plastic, PE, PP, and PVC.
