Electromagnetic Flowmeter
The Depamu electromagnetic flowmeter operates using Faraday’s law of induction to measure the volumetric flow rate of your metering pump. Available with a single-chip microcomputer, this electromagnetic flowmeter can achieve digital excitation. Incorporated with a CAN bus, the magnetic flow meter is not only able to display real time data regarding the flow rate, but also sends 4~20mA current signals to the pump controller for recording, speed adjustments and control.
One advantage of using an electromagnetic flowmeter is that its measurement precision stays unaffected by the varying liquid density, viscosity, temperature, pressure, and electrical conductivity. There is a linear relationship between the voltage signal coming from the sensor and the average flow rate of the pump. High measurement accuracy is maintained across a range of flow rates. Note that this flow meter can be used to measure corrosive fluids as well.
