The potential relay, also known as an electrical orvoltage relay, is a circuit switch that uses a small amount of power to control a larger source of power connected to electrical devices such as car motors, computers, and lighting installations. This industrial relay switch is especially designed to start single-phase motors which employ both start and run capacitors (CSR and CSIR configurations) for high starting torque.
