Oxygen Absorber
The oxygen absorber or oxygen scavenger is added to sealed packaging to remove or decrease the level of oxygen in the food package so as to slow down food oxidation and spoiling. The oxygen absorber reduces the chance of mold and aerobic bacteria, prolonging the food's shelf life. In addition, the deoxidizing agent protects the grease from meat from oxidizing and going rancid and retains the nutritional value and flavor of the product.
Applications of Oxygen Absorber
This oxygen absorbent protects all kinds of packaged foods from spoiling, including candy, dry seafood, cooked meat, rice cakes, wheat products, moon cakes, among others.

The Do's and Don'ts
1. Before use, do read the product instructions carefully to avoid food spoiling.
2. Our oxygen absorber has a metallic composition, so it cannot be used in microwaves. Do specify this on your food packaging.
3. Don't use sharp objects such as a knife to open the carton to avoid damaging inner packaging.
4. A packet of oxygen absorbers will rapidly generate high heat and reduce performance when exposed to air. After unpacking, do spread out the oxygen absorbers instead of stacking to avoid the accumulation of heat.
5. Do seal oxygen absorber packets not being used as soon as possible.
6. Oxygen absorber is a disposable product, so do not reuse oxygen absorbers.
7. Oxygen absorbers cannot protect against anaerobe growth.
