Sight Glass
General Description
Sight glass, also called water gauge, is a transparent tube comprised of stainless frame and glass. Connected to the bottom of the tank at one end and the top of the tank at the other, it allows operators of a tank or container to see through the glass and observe the level of liquid, gases, steam and other media contained within, ensuring the safe and smooth operation of a tank, boiler or other containers and even the whole industrial production.
Given this fact, it has become an indispensable flow indicator for containers applied in such industrials as the food processing, petrochemical production, which is the necessary accessory in the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical and fine chemicals industries.
