Metallic shielded power cable is used for electricity transmission on power lines with rated voltage 0.6/1 kV or lower. The metallic shields used in the construction of the shielded cable have the ability to prevent electromagnetic interference and defend against damage from lightning strikes. The screened cable, otherwise known as the metallic sheathed cable is especially suitable for locations that use sensitive electronic devices such as computer centers and air traffic control centers.

Usage Characteristics of the Metallic Shielded Power Cable
1. Highest working temperature:
PVC insulation is 70℃
XLPE insulation is 90℃

2. Short-circuit time (below 5s), The temperature of the conductor will not exceed:
PVC insulation is 160℃
XLPE insulation is 250℃

3. The minimum bent radius of the cable:
Single core is 20D, multiple core 15D

4. Installation should not be performed in temperatures below 0℃

Main technique function of the Metallic shielded cable
1. Conductor construction and conductor resistances of the cable match table 1-2
2. The cable experiments through an voltage of AC 3500V for 5 minutes.
