Our PVC-U drainage pipe are manufactured in strict accordance with the ISO3633: 2002 and BS2522/4514 standards. As a professional pipe manufacturer, we supply complete sets of PVC-U sewage pipe and fittings fit for solvent cement connection.

    Application
Made of PVC resins with special additives and produced by extrusion and injection molding technologies, our PVC-U sewage pipe is mainly used for the drainage system in buildings. Our company is a PVC-U drainage pipe and fitting supplier with years of experience and our products are widely used in various building drainage projects due to their high quality.

    Features
    1. Our PVC-U drainage pipe has good physical and chemical properties such as excellent corrosion resistance, high impact resistance, low fluid resistance and high flow capacity. The flow capacity of our PVC-U pipe is 30% higher than that of the cast iron pipe in the same diameter.

    2. The PVC-U sewage pipe we offer is anti-aging and has a lifespan of 30 to 50 years. Our product is also resistant to high temperature and high pressure. Its long-time working temperature is 70℃ and its maximum transient temperature is up to 95℃. Its vicat softening temperature and maximum designed pressure are respectively 131.3℃ and 2.5Mpa.

    3. Being light and easy to install, our PVC-U drainage pipes helps speed up the project progress and lower the construction cost. It cost less to construct a pipeline system using our PVC-U pipes than using cast iron pipes of the same size.

    Using Methods
    I. Jointing of PVC-U Drainage Pipe

The following procedures should be followed for socket-spigot jointing:
    1. Clean the external surface of spigot and the internal surface of the socket before jointing.
    2. Measure the depth of socket, and make sure the spigot is at the distance equivalent to the depth of the socket.
    3. Apply solvent cement. First spread the solvent cement to the internal surface of the socket, then to the pipe evenly and in adequate quantity.
    4. Push the PVU-U drainage pipe into the socket till reaching the mark, and then rotate it by 90°.
    5. Remove all excess solvent cement around the joint.
    6. The joint should be left undisturbed until it becomes solid.

II. Protection of Socket and Spigot
    1. After jointing the PVU-U drainage pipes, remove the excess adhesive using cleaning agent such as acetone.
    2. Wait until the bond to become solid according to the adhesive behavior and the environmental conditions.
    3. In winter, the cure time should be adequately extended.

III. Cautions on the Use of Solvent Cement
    1. Unpacked solvent cement and cleaning fluid should be used immediately and only by designated person.
    2. There should be no flame near the joint and adequate ventilation condition should be ensured.
    3. The bonding should not take place under temperature lower than -10℃ and the joint should not be heated by fire.

IV. Cutting and Chamfering of PVC-U Drainage Pipe
    A. Cutting
    1. The cutting length should be determined according to the dimensions of fittings.
    2. Use fine tooth panel saw, cutter and pipe cutting machine to cut the PVC pipes.
    3. The cut should be square without any distortion.

    B. Chamfering
    1. The outer edge of the PVC-U drainage pipe should be chambered to 15°-30° according to related requirements.
    2. The chamfer length is generally not less than 3mm and the chamfer thickness is 1/3-1/2 of the wall thickness.
    3. Remove the scraps after chamfering.
