Plastic Bearing (Anti-Corrosion)
Our plastic bearings are equipped with PTFE or PVDF rings, PTFE or PVDF cages, and glass or ceramic rollers. PTFE and PVDF have the highest corrosion resistance. PTFE is known as one of the best in engineering plastic to feature the highest corrosion resistance. Due to that, our anti-corrosion bearings are suitable for strong acid and alkali conditions, such as Hydrofluoric acid (HF), fuming nitric acid, and fuming sulfuric acid (above 98%). It is also highly resistant to high temperatures.
Features of the Plastic Bearing
PTFE can with stand temperatures up to 180℃, and PVDF can withstand temperatures up to 150℃. However, when compared to the PTFE bearings that have a low mechanical strength and dimensional stability, PVDF bearings have better overall properties.
