Outdoor LED linear lights differ from washers/grazers in beam angles,diffusers and linear configuration. They are available in RGB and whiteversions. Like washers and grazers, they illuminate walls and features or areused as facade contours video array or outline lights.
DIRECT VIEW LIGHTING
Rather than illuminatingspaces, direct-view fixtures display full-color complex, dynamic images andlarge-scale video with color-changing effects. Linear and pixel node fixturescan create two- and three-dimensional displays on any scale and any structurefor stunning exterior video displays on buildings visiblefor miles.
Because direct-view LEDfixtures are used for different purposes than other LED fixtures, their lightoutput is measured in candela per square meter or nits. Controllersspecifically designed for direct-view installations can sample and stream videoto fixtures via an Internet connection. StrongLED’s RTP 9800 series can controlup to 300 million pixels.
