Rewinder
Immediately after steel strips are cut into narrower widths, a rewinder is needed to wind them up into coils again. Major parts of this rewinder include the rewind shaft, which is the heart of the rewinder, auxiliary winding equipment, and the forming roll.
During a typical run, steel strips take its final shape on the rewind shaft which is powered by a motor. Both auxiliary winding equipment and the forming roll are motor-driven to rotate. A hydraulic cylinder is also used to provide the power needed for the movement of the forming roll.
This rewinder is mainly used in conjunction with our slitting line, delivering excellent winding speed and results. The main bodywork is made of quality steel plates through welding. The roller is an in-house developed product which greatly reduces production cost that otherwise would be needed to buy it from a third-party factory.
Rewinder Applications
Suitable for winding up cold-rolled and hot-rolled carbon steel, silicon steel, tinplate, stainless steel, and electroplated metal plates.
