Glue Spreader
Glue spreader is one of the main equipment in the plywood production line used for scattering the glue on the veneer surface; it can be used as either single-sided gluing machine or double-sided gluing machine. The amount of glue on one side can be adjusted from 100 to 200g/m².
Merits
1. This 8 inch 4-roll glue spreader has two large-diameter rubber rolls and two doctor rolls. The doctor rolls are used to control the amount of glue; the distance between the rubber rolls and doctor rolls can be adjusted by the precision hand wheel. Our glue application machine can accurately control the amount of glue and effectively reduce the waste of glue by 5%-10%. The specific amount depends on the actual situations, such as the surface quality of veneer.
2. The diameter of the rubber roll is up to ø415mm; when the thread on the surface is severely worn, it can be milled again for repeated uses to save cost.
3. The rubber rolls and the doctor rolls of our glue spreader are driven by the gearbox and universal joint; this drive type features more concise structure, easier maintenance and more accurate transmission than conventional chain drive.
4. The 4 rolls are controlled by a pneumatic device, which is easy to clean and hard to be damaged by cured glue on its surface.
