Rod Mill
Our rod mills grind material by rotating a cylinder with ceramic grinding balls, which continuously grind the material to a fine powder. The rotation is usually between 4 to 20 revolutions per minute, depending upon the diameter of the rod mill. The larger the diameter, the slower the rotation. If the peripheral speed of the mineral processing jobs is too great, it begins to act with centrifugal force and the balls stay on the perimeter of the mill instead of grinding the material.

Working Principle
The rod mill is a horizontal rotating device. Materials are transferred through a quill shaft to the grinding chamber, where there are ladder and ripple liners and ceramic balls with different specifications. The centrifugal force caused by the rotation of the barrel rolls the ceramic balls around so they grind the material, which is then discharged.
