Similar to ST-I in construction, the ST-III Stepseal is comprised of a PTFE-filled stepped seal and a rubber o-ring that energizes the seal. This dynamic seal is primarily used as a single-acting piston seal in a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder of 8mm to 1000mm in diameter.

Operating media: hydraulic oil, gas, water, emulsified fluid, etc.
