Silica Gel Desiccant

The industrial silica gel desiccant is an amorphous sorbent that is chemically stable, only reacting with alkali and hydrofluoric acid. This silica gel desiccant has the advantages of being non-toxic, odorless, and environmentally-friendly and of having a non-changing shape with an absorption rate over 30%. Used in electronic equipment such as appliances, semiconductors, and optical equipment, in plastic and steel products, in overseas shipment containers, in the food industry, and in textile products such as shoes, hats, and handbags, the silica gel sorbent should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

(5) Simple self-testing methods for effectiveness:
1) Tear off the silica gel desiccant package and hold the material tightly in hand. If the silica gel warms up, the desiccant is still effective.
2) For silica gel desiccants with blue and orange indicators, the desiccant is still effective if the color is unchanged.
3) Pour the silica gel into a cup of cold water. If the beads dissolve with a sound, the desiccant was still effective.
