The mineral desiccant, composed of several natural and non-toxic minerals, absorbs up to 50% of its own weight (25℃,RH=100%) compared to silicon desiccants which absorb only 35%. This mineral absorbent is used in electronics, semiconductors, electrical appliances, plastic and steel products, household supplies such as bedding and shoes, overseas shipping containers, and food.

The fiber desiccant is made of natural plant fiber that is 100% biodegradable and harmless to the human body. The fiber absorbent has passed FDA RoHS and REACH tests and is DMF-free. With a moisture absorption rate of up to 100% of its own weight, the non-toxic desiccant is used in healthcare and medicinal products, bio-kits, dried fruit and vacuum-packed food, electronic products such as IC circuit boards, and other fiber desiccant applications. This absorbent is laminated on both sides with PET film, paper, or non-woven material with a "Don't Eat" warning label in both Chinese and English.

The humidity indicator card, or HIC, measures the relative humidity inside sealed packages for a quick and easy way to ensure the humidity level is safe after a product has been stored for some time. When the color of the dot changes from brown to green or yellow to green, the RH within the package is or has reached the RH value of the dot. These moisture indicators tell manufacturers when to change the desiccants in electronics packaging of printed circuit board, optical equipment, or metal, synthetic, or optimal component products.

The silica gel desiccant is an amorphous sorbent that is chemically stable, only reacting with alkali and hydrofluoric acid. This silica gel has the advantages of being non-toxic, odorless, and environmentally-friendly and of having a non-changing shape with an absorption rate over 30%. Used in electronic equipment such as appliances, semiconductors, and optical equipment, in plastic and steel products, in overseas shipment containers, in the food industry, and in textile products such as shoes, hats, and handbags, the silica gel sorbent should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.

Our Montmorillonite clay desiccant is made from natural Montmorillonite ore. Non-toxic and biodegradable, this eco-friendly desiccant contains no additives, corrosive material, or chloride. Montmorillonite absorbent material is used in the plastics and steel industry, in food products, in semiconductors and household electrical appliances, in wardrobe, bedding, and footwear products, and in overseas shipping containers.

While shipping and storing in containers, the temperatures between night and day can vary greatly, often collecting dew within the container. Our container desiccants reduces the dew point and controls condensation and humidity throughout the time products are stored in containers. The fiber container desiccants, mineral container desiccants and hyperdry container desiccants have an innovative design that absorbs moisture without letting it spill back out.

The molecular sieve desiccant selectively absorbs moisture without absorbing nitrogen and oxygen, specifically for drying double-deck glass mezzanines. When making insulating glass, absorbents fill the aluminum piping around the glass. This means desiccant for insulating glass with a strong absorption capacity, low density, and little dust collection are needed.

The calcium chloride desiccant combines calcium chloride and several super absorbent polymers for an absorbent rate of 300% in high temperature and humidity environments. This means the hyperdry desiccant is 10 times more effective than silica gel desiccants. Self test the calcium chloride absorbent by observing the dry white powder of the desiccant. If it has absorbed moisture, it will turn in to a gray gel.

This activated carbon desiccant is made from the natural mineral desiccant Mg-AL-silicate and active carbon. For a higher moisture absorption rate, calcium chloride may be added. This deodorizing desiccant reduces the relative humidity and absorbs heavy metal ions, carcinogens, odors, rust, poisonous gases and bacteria. This absorbent features a large surface area and superior absorption capacity between 15 - 40%. It is easy to include in packaging for glue, leather, shoes, bags, plastic products, and furniture. In raw material form, the desiccant comes in small black granules.

SHMM provides a range of desiccant packing material such as our non-woven packaging material, PET/PE desiccant packing material, and Tyvek paper packaging. These products are non-toxic, have clearly printed labels, and won't leak desiccants.
