Turning Rolls
When pipes waiting to be welded get seriously heavy and unable to move by hand, turn to our turning rolls to improve your welding efficiency and confidence. We offer these welding turning rolls in self-aligning and adjustable configurations, not to mention a choice of different wheels such as the rubber wheel, steel wheel, or a combination of the first two.
The complete line of turning rolls we produce can be used in combination with other equipment in your pipe welding shop to easily rotate large pipes and allow welders to get the optimal position to do their welding, polishing, lining, renovation, repair and assembly. In addition to cylindrical drums, our turning roll also works well with conical shapes and drums consisting of different sections of dissimilar diameters. Special engineered turning rolls are available as well.
Self-aligning turning rolls adjust wheel centerline settings automatically to provide the best support for the drums of differing diameters. Rolls are powered by two motors available with either cycloidal speed reducer or worm gear speed reducer.
For rotating heavy pipes and vessels during welding or assembly, the adjustable turning rolls can be a great tool to have in your job shop. By adjusting the wheel centerline setting, the turning rolls can provide the best support for the workpiece with a maximum weight of 500000kg and in diameters between 230mm and 7500mm.
