Equipped with touch trigger probe, scanning probe and other types of probe systems, the bridge type CMM comes with highly improved ease of operation and maneuverability. And low maintenance cost, reliable measuring precision and efficient measuring rate enable it to be widely used in each field of modern industries.

Applications

Features and Advantages

1. Advanced finite element method (FEM) and mathematical modeling approach in optimized designs bring strong rigidity, small geometry error, high precision, performance and stability to the coordinate measuring machine.

2. Three axes (X, Y and Z axis) are made of high quality granite that assures small thermal expansion coefficient (α=3.0(10-6/K)). They boast uniform temperature characteristic, thus delivering superior temperature stability, high anti-transmogrification performance, great rigidity and small geometrical error in motion.

3. The bridge coordinate measuring machine is equipped with static pressure air-bearing guideways that are comprised of self-cleaning, pre-loading and high precision air bearings. They ensure large bearing span, strong anti-sway performance, small resistance, no abrasion and higher stability in motion. Guideways feature dovetail design which provides high accuracy positioning and reliable steady state performance.

4. It adopts the RENISHAW measuring system with reflective metal strip gratings. Due to similar thermal expansion coefficient with most workpieces, it ensures superior repeatability.

5. Three-axes driving system boasts unique proprietary technology. Wire rope driving assures the system of smaller following error and faster response, thus considerably improving the dynamic performance of large scale measurement equipment and minimizing the influence of movement inertia on measuring precision. Additionally, wire rope driving lowers the cost in using and maintaining the drive system and makes maintenance more convenient.

6. The bridge coordinate measuring machine applies up to 21 geometric error compensation technologies, dramatically improving measuring accuracy.

7. Z axis features an air cylinder equilibrator system that greatly increases its positioning accuracy and stability.

8. High precision filtration system from Japan allows for 5µm filtration accuracy of compressed air. This can effectively avoid the damage of starting system caused by bad compressed air quality.

9. The Royal series bridge CMM is equipped with RENISHAW touch trigger probe or scanning probe to meet customers' actual measuring requirements.
