Compact Substation
Compact substation of ZGS series has its transformer, high voltage load switch, fuse, and other insulating components immersed in transformer oil. Transformer oil with a flash point higher than 312°C can be used for special applications where fire and explosion hazard is a serious factor to consider.
ZGS series is an in-house developed compact substation available with a power meter on the low voltage side. It is typically placed near residential, commercial and industrial buildings, mining facilities, airports, bus stations, hospitals and schools, providing shunt feedback and reactive power compensation.
Two configurations are available, ring main unit and remote terminal unit.
Features

3. Double fuse is fitted on the high voltage side, including one plug fuse and one back-up fuse.
4. Cable connectors at the input end on the high voltage side are completely insulated for safe, reliable and easy operation.
5. The three-phase distribution transformer comes with either 3 or 5 core limbs. Iron core can have multi-step lap joints or be coiled by specialized equipment to reduce noise and core loss, and to improve the ability to hold short-circuit currents and overloads.
Structure
Transformer oil tank and corrugated fins in the back for fast heat dissipation. The transformer body assembly, load switch and backup fuse are enclosed in the partially sealed tank.
The tank lid comes with an oil-resistant rubber seal and concealed high strength threads. Waterproof tank meets safety and operation requirements. Doors on both sides feature three-point interlocks. The high-voltage compartment can be opened only when the lower-voltage compartment is unlocked.
