Hammer Crusher
A hammer crusher or hammer mill or hammermill crusher is used to crush and pulverize medium hardness, less abrasive materials with compressive strength under 100MPa and moisture content no more than 15%. Crushable materials include coal, salt, chalk, gypsum, tile, and limestone. Our wood hammer mill, a.k.a. wood hog, is specially designed to process fibrous waste, wood scraps, paper, asbestos cement waste (for recycling asbestos fibers), etc.
Yonran supplies hammer crushers mainly in two configurations, ring-hammer and heavy-duty hammer. The latter is built with mature technologies, delivering one of three finished product sizes: coarse, medium and fine sizes. The heavy duty hammer crusher can crush both large and small-size materials in one operation. It is productive, efficient, labor saving, and cost-saving.

Inner Workings
At the heart of our hammer crusher is a rotor where multiple hammers are mounted. The rotor is driven by the mainshaft which is powered by an electric motor. Materials are fed into the crushing chamber via a feed hopper attached at the top. They are shattered, ground, crushed, and disintegrated upon hammer impact. Right below the rotor is a mesh screen. Standard size materials fall through the screen. Oversized particles stay in that crushing chamber for further fracturing.
