Screw Conveyor
The screw conveyor is a common sight in chemicals, building material and grain industries where loose materials like powders, granules, and small-size lumps need to be conveyed. Our auger conveyor, however, is not recommended for conveying perishable, sticky and clumpy products.
Ambient temperature
-20~50°C, material temperature: less than 200°C, conveyor housing inclination: no more than 200, average conveying length: less than 40M, maximum conveying length: no more than 70m.
Advantages of Screw Conveyor over Other Conveying Devices
The inclined conveyor is simple structured and tightly sealed, featuring a small cross-section area, with multiple loading and unloading points. It conveys material along a tube by means of a screw, requiring little maintenance to operate.
Drawbacks of Screw Conveyor
